Gujranwala: Senior anchorperson Iqrar-ul-Hassan and his team members were injured during an attack by an unidentified group in Gujranwala, here on Tuesday.
As per the details, Iqrar-ul-Hassan targeted along with his team members in Gujranwala, as he participated in a private university event when the assailants broke the glasses of his car.
According to the reports, Iqrar-ul-Hassan and his team suffered minor injuries, adding that the attackers were shouting slogans in favor of Pir Haq Khateeb Sarkar. The group attacked the TV anchor and his team’s vehicle with stones and sticks.
It is pertinent to mention that Iqrar-ul-Hassan has exposed Pir Haq Khateeb Sarkar in his programs while the followers were blindly following him, and Iqrar was threatened many times by Khateeb followers.
