Karachi: Man, sexually harassed woman in Karachi’s Federal B Area on Wednesday.

Sexual assault and harassment have occurred in Karachi on a number of occasions recently. A woman was sexually harassed in a Karachi suburb in the most recent incident.

In an area close to Madina Masjid in Federal B Area Block 17, a woman wearing a burqa was sexually harassed as she crossed a road by a man riding a motorcycle.

The incident, which took place at 10:55 am, was caught on camera. The perpetrator was clearly seen on CCTV, and when the victim struggled and yelled for help, he easily fled.

When the incident was over, passersby gathered, but the harasser escaped before he could be apprehended.

The authorities failed to catch the offender again.

They claimed that neither the victim in the case nor anybody else had gotten in touch with them to start an investigation.

They stated that footage was being gathered from additional neighboring cameras.

Since the initial case of street harassment was reported, a troubling trend of harassment of women has persisted in the city.
