‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ scheme registration form; Here’s how to apply

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday launched the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar‘ housing scheme, designed to offer houses at accessible installment plans, and a simplified application process.

Addressing a launching ceremony, CM Punjab said there’s no place like home. “Those who have their own home, their roof, they don’t understand what it is like to be homeless.”

To benefit from the program,  the applicant must be a resident of Punjab, belong to a low-income family with an income of less than Rs60,000, and be a government employee without existing homeownership.

“Owners of 1-5 marlas of land in urban areas and 1-10 marlas in rural areas would receive interest-free loans of up to Rs1.5m from the Punjab government to build homes,” Punjab govt announced.

How to apply for ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ Scheme

Citizens can apply for a home or loan at the portal (acag.punjab.gov.pk). and can call 0800-09100 to seek information about it.

Firstly, complete the citizen registration form by filling required details including full name, CNIC number, mobile number, etc.

Following registration, you will get a certificate form that you must fill out to confirm your eligibility in each category. In the next step, citizens can move on to the application form after completing the second step.
