According to sources, former Chief Secretary AJK and former Secretary of the Election Commission of Pakistan, Syed Asif Shah, has emerged as the strongest candidate for the position.
Three names — Syed Asif Shah, Farhat Ali Mir, and Khawaja Naseem — are under consideration, with Asif Shah expected to be appointed.
