QUETTA: Armed men robbed Balochistan’s Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs Sanjay Kumar of his mobile phone and cash and fled the scene.
Referring to the incident, Sanjay Kumar said that the number of attackers was about 15, who suddenly surrounded him and committed the crime.
According to the parliamentary secretary, the suspects were armed and managed to escape after committing the robbery in a short time. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, however, panic spread in the area after the incident.
Police reached the spot as soon as they received information, collected evidence and started searching for the suspects. Officials say that a thorough investigation into the incident is being conducted and the suspects will be arrested soon.
Police have also set up a blockade in the area to facilitate the arrest of the suspects.
