ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad has started proceedings to declare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi a proclaimed offender.
According to the details, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the case. Despite being summoned several times by the court, the accused did not appear. The court also started proceedings against Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi and Dr. Amjad.
It should be remembered that a case of November 26 protest has been registered against KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and others.
Earlier, while talking to the media at Dahgal Naka, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi said that he came here after the NFC meeting, he has presented his case in the meeting, after the 25th Amendment, the tribal districts were merged into KP, the tribal districts were not being given their share, he said in the meeting that this is unconstitutional.
Sohail Afridi said that in principle the participants agreed to this, it was decided that the sub-committee will be formed by next Wednesday, the sub-committee will submit its recommendations by January 8, the next NFC meeting will be held in January, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have made immense sacrifices in the war on terrorism, the infrastructure has been destroyed.
He said that unfortunately we were not given our rights, today it is regrettable that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not being given their rights, three provinces are being given their rights, they were assured that we will be given our rights, NFC meetings were held twice after our government, these meetings could not continue after the regime change operation in 2022, we are expecting that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be given their rights.
He said that Imran Khan is in our hearts, not the KP government, but those who facilitated the nomination papers of this criminal Afghan in the Election Commission. Earlier there were good Taliban and bad Taliban, now there are good Afghans and bad Afghans. Those who are criminals are being made part of the parliament. If it had been in the hands of Barrister Gohar, I would have met him earlier.
