Balochistan police takes disciplinary action against 200 policemen

QUETTA: The Balochistan police department recently took action against 200 policemen due to duty negligence and continuous absences during duty hours.

The police department stated these measures were taken to ensure effective and efficient working of the department as well as providing high-quality service to the citizens of Balochistan.

The fired policemen were of different ranks varying from Constables, Head constables, and Assistant sub-inspectors(ASIs), belonging from different regions across Balochistan including Quetta, Loralai, Sibi, Kalat, Zhob, Naseerabad, and Makran.

The police department emphasized that no negligence or laziness will be tolerated.

Earlier, Punjab police also showcased strict measures against 14 policemen and dismissed them over negligence in their duties during Muharram 9. Further investigation revealed that the policemen abandoned duties leaving their position empty which led to emergency disciplinary measures.
