Bilawal stresses on people-centric solutions during Lahore visit.

During a media interaction in Lahore, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has emphasized the party’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the local population and criticized other political entities for allegedly prioritizing the protection of their leaders from legal matters over the welfare of the people.

Chairman Bilawal, who also served as the former Foreign Minister, highlighted the need for increased efforts in Lahore, stating that substantial work is required in the region. He expressed concern that those in power were not focusing on the issues faced by the incoming government.

Asserting PPP’s commitment to equality-based politics, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari affirmed that by implementing the party’s ten-point agenda, many issues can be effectively resolved. The PPP Chairman underscored the party’s dedication to democratic principles and ensuring a level playing field for all.

Regarding the upcoming elections, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asserted that the elections would take place as scheduled, referencing Chief Justice’s statement confirming the date of February 8. He urged Chief Justice to stay firm on the decision and stated that the PPP is prepared to contest and win the elections on that date.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged acceptance of agreements from international organizations, encouraging the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to facilitate the electoral process. He expressed optimism about winning the elections on February 8 and encouraged the nullification of any resolutions that may hinder the electoral process.
