ISLAMABAD: Chairperson BISP Senator Rubina Khalid has issued an important message to deserving women

Good news for all my sisters who are beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Program and who face problems in thumb verification (BVS).

BISP and NADRA have jointly introduced a new system under which women whose thumbs cannot be verified can now be identified through facial recognition.

For this purpose, NADRA mobile registration vans are being deployed in BISP regional offices across the country.

Procedure:
Women whose thumbs cannot be verified should take their original CNIC (National Identity Card) with them to the nearest NADRA mobile registration van or to their nearest NADRA office.

If thumb verification is not possible even in the NADRA office, NADRA will verify through facial recognition.

After the verification is complete, a certificate will be issued by NADRA, for which the beneficiaries will have to pay a fee of Rs. 20.

After receiving this certificate, women should go to their nearest BISP office and register it.

Immediately after registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile phone.

After a few days, you will receive a message from 8171 informing you that your money has been transferred to your account.

After this message, you will be able to receive your money from your nearest BISP payment center.
