Burglars loot Rs0.5 from policeman’s house in Wah

TAXILA: A policeman’s house was looted with cash and other valuables worth Rs500,000 in the Losar Sharfoo area in the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar police station on Sunday.

According to the police, burglars broke into the house of Head Constable Sohail and stole cash and other valuables when the family was out to attend a function.

In another incident, two armed robbers looted the shop at gunpoint in the limits of Taxila police station.

Shop owner Javaid Ahmed told Police that two persons posing as customers entered his shop and took him as well security guard hostage at gunpoint.

Later, the robbers searched the shop and fled with looted items.

Police have registered two separate cases and launched a search for the culprits.
