LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its latest initiative in the Fans’ Choice Awards to be launched in celebration of the nine-year success of the Pakistan Super League.

It is yet another exciting development that emphasizes the league’s ongoing conscience of fan engagement and recognition of fan devotion and commitment.

The Fans’ Choice Awards will allow fans to vote for their favorite players and moments from previous additions to the league, with both local and international players nominated for awards in six categories, namely best batter, best bowler, best all-rounder, Most Valuable Player (MVP), best individual batting performance, and best individual bowling performance.

The nomination process will be a platform for fan voting, which guarantees that fans voice their preference for who shall be winners in any category. The awards would be fully dependent on fans; thus, the players who get voted for the most in each category will be the winners.

Announcements for each category of the awards will be made during the exciting player draft in Gwadar, Balochistan on January 11, 2025. This event promises to be exciting, with fans looking forward to seeing their favorite performers and identifying the best in the HBL PSL.

The PSL CEO Salman Naseer commented in a PCB release that the fans were the cornerstone of the league’s successive years. He insisted that the fresh awards would honor their passion and commitment.

The success of the HBL PSL is attributed by the PSL, with all the love and support from its loyal fans, as those fans are a big part of the success of the league. The Fans’ Choice Awards provide this platform for the loyal fans to celebrate their favorite players and moments, honoring the best of HBL PSL together.
