RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad embraced martyrdom during the gun battle with terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan, a military media wing said on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists in the North Waziristan district today.
During the intense exchange, Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad, 24, from Rawalpindi District fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice, and embraced Shahadat, the statement said.
Sanitization operations are being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area. “Security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” ISPR said.
