LAHORE: The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered a case against Punjab Assembly Member Saqib Chadhar in the case of harassing actress Momina Iqbal.
A case has been registered against MPA Saqib Chadhar under the PECA Act. According to the plaintiff, Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Samira Khan, and his associates blackmailed and threatened her.
According to the text of the FIR, the accused continued to conduct illegal surveillance and threatened Momina Iqbal and her family.
Upon learning of Saqib Chadhar’s first marriage, Momina Iqbal refused to marry her. Upon her refusal, Saqib Chadhar started blackmailing her by sending her private videos.
According to the FIR, Saqib Chadhar also ended the actress’s relationship in 2023 by making false allegations. Actress Momina Iqbal and her husband were threatened.
On the other hand, the Lahore Sessions Court granted interim bail to MPA Saqib Chadhar in the case of harassing Momina Iqbal. The court stayed the arrest of Saqib Chadhar till June 24.
