In a significant development, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced its decision to construct a new model village within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The project, set to span 3621 kanals of land, is slated for completion within the next two years.
The model village is designed to include 4500 residential plots, each measuring 10 marlas. Complementing the residential area, the plan incorporates a commercial center and three Class 3 shopping centers. A focal point of the village will be the construction of a Jamia mosque, promoting a sense of community, while a health center will cater to the healthcare needs of the residents.
CDA officials have confirmed that all plots within this model village will be exclusively allotted to individuals who were affected by the acquisition of their land by CDA for Park Enclave. Specifically, those impacted from Mauza Kurri and Rihara are among the beneficiaries of this housing initiative.
