LAHORE: The chief executive officer (CEO) of KIPS Education System, Abid Wazir Khan, was reportedly abducted from the Johar Town area of Lahore.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered after a complaint was filed by his brother, Tahir Wazir Khan, who is the director of finance at the KIPS corporate office, a social media user revealed in a post.

As per Tahir, Abid Khan left his office at 6:00 pm on January 1st in his car. During his travel, he made a call to one of his staff members.

During the call, the staffer allegedly heard a commotion, a person knocking on the car window and yelling, “You hit my car.”

The call then suddenly ended, and Abid Khan’s mobile phone was switched off shortly after. Tahir Khan has raised fears that his brother might have been kidnapped by some unknown persons.

In his complaint, Tahir appealed to the authorities to act quickly, as his brother’s life may be in imminent danger.

There is no official statement from the KIPS Education System in this regard.
