Chaudhry Salik says PM has taken notice of passenger offloading issue

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain says that in recent days, despite the completion of the documents, some passengers are being offloaded.

He said that the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice and formed a committee.

A ceremony was held in Islamabad by the United Nations Organization IOM on the occasion of World Refugee Day, which Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain addressed.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that the Prime Minister has taken notice of the difficulties faced in offloading and migrating passengers.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a special committee on this issue that will prepare recommendations regarding the safe migration of people.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain stated that an important meeting of the committee will be held this week, and by the end of January, we will prepare proposals to address these issues.

He said that in recent days, despite the completion of the documents, some passengers are being offloaded, and people who had visas were also offloaded.
