CM KP dares govt to impose governor’s rule

ISLALAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi challenged the government to impose Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa if they have the courage, we are not afraid of anyone.

Talking to the media, CM KP Sohail Afridi said that the province is already ruled by PTI founder Imran Khan, so there is no need for any other rule, if they have the courage, then impose Governor’s Rule.

Responding to a journalist’s question regarding law and order, Sohail Afridi said that those who are implementing closed-room policies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should realize this.

Earlier, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar also said that he does not see Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Salman Akram Raja said while talking to the media that Governor’s Rule is allowed in the Constitution only if the provincial government completely fails.

He said that the constitution states that the government in the province will be of the representatives of the people, and at present the representatives of the people are present, the cabinet is also present.

He said that Sohail Afridi has been elected Chief Minister with a large majority, the federal government does not need to impose its representative in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
