CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz announces salary reward for outstanding cleanliness measures on Eid

LAHORE: On the instructions of CM Maryam Nawaz, a unique record of public service was set with the successful completion of waste disposal mission during the last 72 hours on Eidul Azha across the province. Maryam Nawaz has announced a reward of one month’s salary to the staff for performing their duties on Eid.

She monitored every zero waste mission task on all three days of the Eid. For the first time in Lahore, the new innovative tradition of sanitation monitoring was established with the help of drone technology and safe city cameras.

The bad practice of throwing offal into the Lahore canal decreased by 80 percent on Eid days.

The Chief Minister, conveying her message to the whole team involved in the Eid cleanliness drive said, “Well done team Punjab”.

For their outstanding work during the Eid cleanliness drive, CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised all municipal institutions, waste management firms, LWMC, pertinent officers, and staff members. She also conveyed her appreciation to the media, elected officials, and everyone who helped the institutions and made this campaign a success.
