LAHORE: The CM Punjab Solar Scheme is a fantastic initiative that aims to provide free solar panels to 100,000 low-income households in Punjab, promoting energy independence, reducing electricity bills, and encouraging the adoption of renewable energy sources.

If you have applied for this scheme, you’ll be excited to check the status of your application. To do that, you need to go to the official CM Solar Scheme portal and check your status under the Application Status section after logging in with your registered email and password. The helpline is on hand to help you if you’re stuck or need assistance.

After application submission, it goes through a vetting process that looks into all necessary aspects, such as electricity consumption, CNIC details, and household income.

Common status updates

You’ll be updated on your application status and may hear it said that it is ‘Under Review,’ ‘Approved,’ or ‘Rejected.’ Those of you who cannot make it onto the online portal need not trouble yourself much; you will have an SMS status of your application if you applied in that way, or you contact the helpline by means of your CNIC or reference number.

There are several status updates that applicants typically receive, including ‘Under Review,’ meaning the application is not yet approved; ‘Approved,’ meaning the application met all criteria; ‘Rejected,’ which implies that the application did not meet the requirements for approval; and ‘Pending Verification,’ meaning that further documentation is needed.

It’s important for applicants to regularly check their application status and avoid missing important updates or deadlines.
