COAS Gen Asim Munir affirms unbreakable bond between Army & people

ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Asim Munir has stressed the unbreakable bond between the armed forces and the people in his address to the youth.

The country’s top general delivered a powerful message to students during a special session earlier this week. He stressed that the strength of the nation lies in the unbreakable bond between the army and the people, especially the youth, affirming that any attempt to create division between the two will always fail.

In his address, General Asim Munir praised the resilience of the Pakistani people and their unwavering support for the armed forces. He said that the bond between the army and the people, especially the youth, is unbreakable, stressing that Pakistan’s unity is its strength. He added that attempts to divide the army from the people have never succeeded and will not succeed in the future.

The army chief highlighted the importance of unity in ensuring the country’s security and defense. He said that as long as the nation is with the army, Pakistan will remain invincible. “We fight side by side, and together we protect Pakistan’s identity and security,” General Munir added.

He also focused on national values ​​and stressed that Pakistan is proud of its religion, culture and traditions. He stressed that extremist ideologies will never be allowed to erode the nation’s fundamental beliefs, especially its commitment to the sovereignty of Allah, as enshrined in the Constitution.

The army chief concluded by acknowledging the resilient communities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, who have fought bravely against terrorism, further strengthening the bond between the armed forces and the people in the fight for national security.
