JHANG: A man allegedly killed his sister for the delay in serving food in Mouza Haveli Lal Gagrana area of Jhang on Sunday.
According to the police, the deceased Ayesha Bibi, a young lady doctor, was teaching children in the courtyard of her house when her brother Muhammad Umair asked her to cook for him.
The uncle of the victim, Iftikhar Ahmad Saqib, told police that, upon refusing, the two exchanged harsh words. Police said that Ayesha told her younger brother to wait until she was free from teaching the children.
The complainant alleged that her brother pulled out a pistol and killed her on the spot and fled the scene. The Satellite Town police have started conducting raids to arrest the suspect.
As per details, Ayesha Bibi, 20, was recently returned from Kyrgyzstan after passing the MBBS.
In another similar incident, a younger brother allegedly shot and killed his elder sister after she delayed her meal in Faisalabad’s Jaranwala tehsil.
The Bachiana police said that the tragic incident took place in Chak 564 GB village, where Muhammad Arbaz fired on his elder sister Aneela Bibi.
According to the police, the accused has been arrested, and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
