CHAKWAL: A man allegedly killed his wife by stabbing her after she gave birth to a baby girl in the Dokh Mian Mehrab area of Duman Police Station on Saturday.
According to the police, a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s father and the accused has been arrested for murder. Police have started an investigation after shifting the dead body to a hospital for post-mortem.

The father of the victim said in his statement that the daughter was married a year ago and a month and a half ago a daughter was born at his house. Her father stated that his son-in-law was angry at the birth of a daughter.
The victim’s father says that the daughter received a call last night that her husband was threatening to kill her.
