LAHORE: The Wildlife Department has started registering parrots. The registration deadline has been fixed at December 5, say department officials.
The authorities have warned that keeping unregistered parrots after the deadline will attract legal action. A registration fee of Rs 1,000 per parrot has been fixed.
Alexandrine parrots, rose-ringed parrots, grey-headed parrots, and blossom-headed parrots must be registered. Registration can be completed by contacting the Wildlife Department online or via its official app called Wildlife.
