ISLAMABAD: Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has appealed to the people of Azad Kashmir to remain peaceful in his X-account message.

According to the details, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has requested the protestors in Azad Kashmir to consider the struggle of three generations of occupied Kashmir.

They cannot even imagine the tenth of what you have; they are writing the history of Kashmir’s freedom with their blood.

In this struggle, a generation has gone from youth to old age in prisons, hanged, taken bullets in the chest, paying the price for their love for Pakistan every day, he said.

“The soldiers who were martyred in the wars of Kashmir include Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Baloch, Sindhis, Gilgits, and Baltis. Pakistan has staked its existence on the freedom of Kashmir and will continue to do so.”

This is part of our faith. There is a large number of Kashmiri refugees in my constituency of Sialkot, he noted.

In October 1947, one lakh Kashmiri Muslims were martyred while crossing the Jammu-Sialkot border. Thousands of women were raped and thousands were kidnapped. he added.

In every house of Bajwat, Hajipora, and Pakka Garha camps, there are people who have paid the price of love for Pakistan with their lives.
