DIG Islamabad sentenced to one month in prison for not submitting challan in protest case against PTI leaders

ISLAMABAD: An important development has come to light in the Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad regarding the non-submission of challan in the protest case against PTI leaders.

Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tahir Abbas Supra sentenced DIG Islamabad Jawad Tariq to one month in prison and a fine of Rs 100,000.

Despite several notices issued by the court, the challan in the case was not being submitted, on which the court took action.

During the hearing, Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, while giving a verbal order, said that a written order would be issued shortly.

It should be noted that this case against PTI leaders is registered in Margalla Police Station.
