SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A jirga of the  Dotani tribes in South Waziristan has made a significant announcement as they have thrown their support behind the security forces and pledged to fight Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists jointly on Thursday.

The Jigra decided after terrorists killed Ashraf and policeman Hameed Shahid earlier this week, according to media reports.

This development has caused disappointment in the camps of the militants, as it is not the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that the tribes are backing the security forces.

The people from the tribe forced the terrorists to depart on the border between Dera Ghazi Khan and Dera Ismael Khan during the night of April 12 and 13. The report said.

However, defense analysts have stated that the province’s citizens’ resistance to terrorists is a significant setback for the militants. Because people have now decided to shun extremists, they claim that the latter will have nowhere to hide.
