ECP Refuses Mahmood Achakzai’s Plea to Postpone Presidential Election

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has upheld its decision to proceed with the scheduled presidential election, dismissing Mahmood Achakzai’s request for postponement.

According to media reports, the Commission have confirmed that the election for the 14th president will continue as planned, taking place tomorrow according to the predetermined timetable.

Despite Achakzai’s appeal for a delay, the electoral watchdog remains firm in its commitment to conducting the election on schedule. The rejection of Achakzai’s request highlights the Commission’s dedication to upholding electoral processes and democratic procedures in Pakistan.
