Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected Sunni Ittehad Council’s request for reserved seats.
According to the details, the ECP had reserved its verdict on the Sunni Ittehad Council and other petitions.
The Election Commission ruled that the Sunni Ittehad Council does not deserve the quota of reserved seats for women and minorities.
It is to be noted that independent legislators supported by PTI have joined the alliance party Sunni Ittehad Council after winning the election.
