LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended market timings in Lahore to help businesses and customers prepare for Eid ul Adha 2024.
The top court has permitted markets to stay open until midnight on weekdays and 1 am on weekends. The directive came as people were preparing for the Eid festival.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to convene today (June 7) to view the Zil Hajj crescent, which will determine the date of Eidul Adha 2024 in Pakistan.
Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, will chair the gathering in Karachi.
