ISLAMABAD: Eight additional First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered in Islamabad against the leadership and activists of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in connection with the party’s recent protests in the federal capital, here on Wednesday.
The FIRs, filed in various police stations including Shahzad Town, Sihala, Bani Gala, Khanna, Shams Colony, Tarnol, Noon, and Nilore, cite charges including terrorism, violations of the Assembly Act, attacks on police, abduction, interference in government affairs, and violation of Section 144.
The cases name PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur, Salman Akram Raja, Sheikh Waqas Akram, along with local leadership and thousands of unidentified individuals.
