COAS Gen Asim Munir hails Belarus contributions to global affairs

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Wednesday acknowledged Belarus’ cooperation in global and regional affairs.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir in Islamabad.

The COAS vowed to strengthen and expand bilateral relations between the two countries.

The talks on the occasion were in line with mutual interest, prospects for defense cooperation and regional security dynamics.

President Alexander Lukashenko appreciated the significant efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces in maintaining regional peace and stability.
