Traders in Faisalabad commenced shutter down protest in tower bazaars at eight o clock in the morning in protest against the implementation of sales tax.
Anjuman-i-Tajran supreme council had given a two-day (July 8, 9) strike call against the levy.
Some shops remained open in the bazaar, where the police kept patrolling to avoid any damage done to public property by the hands of the trading protesters.
