ISLAMABAD: JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the dark shadow of the rigging of February 8 still hangs over the country.
Speaking to the media in Mardan on the first anniversary of last year’s elections, he said that we will not allow the people to be destroyed like this.
He alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to destroy the madrassas. Fazlur Rehman said that we have not given up our struggle and are steadfast on the path of political jihad.
The JUI-F leader said that we will reach the assemblies while being in the field. “The people have been my parliament.”
Fazlur also expressed concern over the delaying tactics used in various provinces regarding the Religious Schools Act, adding that “we resolve issues not through bitterness but through dialogue.”
Commenting on US President Trump’s recent statement on Gaza, Fazlur Rehman called him the biggest madman in the world. He added that “the nations of the world have returned his words to his face.”
