FBR cracks down on Top Housing Society for alleged tax evasion

ISLAMABAD: In a groundbreaking move, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launched massive raids on the offices of the renowned housing society ‘Top City Housing Society’ located in Islamabad.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launched the massive operation due to alleged tax evasion reports.

According to the sources, the LTU Islamabad seizes important records from society. The action was taken under Section 175 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.

Investigation against Top City is still ongoing, sources stated. FBR has also started a tax audit of Top City for the fiscal year 2025, sources
