Federal govt announces Ramadan office timings

ISLAMABAD: The working hours for the government institutions during Ramadan of the federal government have been issued.

The Establishment Division has issued an official notification. According to the notification, the working hours of the offices that open 5 days a week will be from 9 am to 3 pm.

The offices that work 6 days a week will work from 9 am to 2 pm, while on Friday, the working hours of government offices have been fixed from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

Earlier, the Sindh government issued a formal notification regarding the working hours of government offices during Ramadan.

According to the notification, the office hours from Monday to Thursday have been fixed from 10 am to 4 pm, while on Friday, government offices will remain open from 10 am to 1 pm.

According to the provincial government, these hours will be applicable to all government, autonomous, private institutions, and local councils of the Sindh government.

The notification regarding the working hours of provincial government offices during Ramadan has been issued with the approval of the Chief Secretary of Sindh.

The concerned authorities have been directed to ensure the implementation of these working hours.
