Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited have each announced a significant hike in DAP prices.
JS Global has confirmed that both FFC and FFBL have raised DAP prices by Rs. 450 per bag. The new prices are Rs. 11,665 per bag for FFC and Rs. 11,715 per bag for FFBL.
This latest rise in fertilizer prices could have severe repercussions for farmers and national food security. Small-scale farmers, especially those with limited cash flow, will be disproportionately affected compared to larger operations, as they struggle to afford the high cost of DAP and need to secure sufficient funds in advance
