SIALKOT: In a groundbreaking development, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime unit has arrested one of the key suspect identified as Ali Hassan Toor in the controversial fake video case of provincial Information Minister Azma Bokhari.
According to the details provided by FIA, the Immigration authorities present at the airport detained the suspect and promptly alerted the Cyber Crimes Circle in Lahore. The cyber crime unit swiftly dispatched a team to Sialkot airport to take him into custody. Toor was arrested while attempting to flee the country from Sialkot Airport.
Ali Hassan Toor is charged with helping to produce and disseminate the phony video, which purportedly sought to disparage the province minister. He was already prohibited from leaving the nation since his name was on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The arrest is a major step forward in the investigation of the case, which has garnered a lot of attention because of its political ramifications.
