Field Marshal Asim Munir issues strong warning to India

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that India should not be a victim of any self-deception or assumption, next time Pakistan’s response will be even faster and more severe.

Addressing the officers of the three armed forces, the Field Marshal said that the Taliban regime will have to choose between Fitna al-Kharij and Pakistan. Pakistan is a peace-loving country. We will not allow Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity to be undermined. No one will be allowed to test our resolve.

He further said that everyone should know that the concept of Pakistan is invincible, Pakistan has been protected by the strong determination of the warriors and the united nation, and the fundamental change in the newly established Defense Forces Headquarters is historic.

The Field Marshal said that multi-domain operations will be further improved under the unified system of the three services. The establishment of the Defense Forces Headquarters is a necessary step towards change. Each service will maintain its uniqueness for its operational preparedness.

He said that the Defense Forces Headquarters will coordinate and harmonize the operations of the services, with the unity of the high command, while the three services will maintain internal autonomy and organizational structure.
