PESHAWAR: A first information report (FIR) has been filed on the alleged abduction of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed at Peshawar’s Sharqi Police Station.
According to the FIR, Sanam was stopped by five unidentified men in Peshawar and forced into a vehicle.
The complaint, in the FIR, termed the incident a serious breach of law and order, stating that such an act raises questions about the enforcement of the law in the city.
According to the FIR, she requested an immediate investigation into the matter as well as the arrest of those involved in the alleged abduction.

According to Sheikh Waqas, the incident occurred on one of Peshawar’s busy roads when two vehicles intercepted Sanam Javed’s car, and the individuals reportedly dragged her out of the vehicle in front of her companions before forcing her into their own cars and speeding away.
Waqas described the incident as an act of abduction and demanded her immediate release.
He claimed that such actions are part of a larger campaign of political victimization against PTI leaders and workers.
