FM Ishaq Dar conveys best wishes to newly sworn in Iranian President Pezeshkian

TEHRAN: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday met with the newly sworn-in Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian after the investiture ceremony held here.

The deputy prime minister conveyed the warmest wishes of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari on his electoral victory.

The Foreign Minister also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen bilateral relations with Iran.

Dr. Pezeshkian appreciated the felicitation messages and underlined Iran’s commitment to good neighborly relations. Deputy Prime Minister Dar also attended the banquet following the investiture ceremony of President Pezeshkian.

He also interacted with Vice President of Brazil Geraldo Alckmin and Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan parliament) Rustam Emomali and discussed matters of mutual interest.
