ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of External Affairs has increased the rates for attestation of legal documents. The new fee will be applicable from July 8, 2024.
As per the details, a Foreign Office spokesperson said the ministry has resumed verification of educational documents, legal documents and commercial documents from Monday, July 8, 2024. Pakistanis can use the MOFA online system to verify legal documents. Liaison offices of Ministry of Foreign Affairs including Lahore and Karachi can also be contacted for verification of documents.
MOFA also removed the requirement of prior appointments for document verification.
Details shared by the External Affairs Ministry said that the new document attestation charges are Rs. 3,000, and Rs.4,500 for legal documents, and Rs. 12,000 for commercial documents.
