ISLAMABAD: Four members of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Monday announced to side with the opposition in the no-confidence voting against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.

One lawmaker of BAP will however vote in favour of PM Imran in voting of no-confidence motion.

BAP Parliamentary Leader Khalid Magsi addressed a presser alongside Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif, PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and others.

Speaking on the occasion, BAP leader Magsi said they have decided to side with the opposition as their leaders came with honest intention.

He complained that the government did not fulfill promises made for the development of Balochistan.

Further, PPP co-Chairman Asif Zardari asserted they would make Shehbaz Sharif the prime minister soon.

Shehbaz demanded PM Imran present the letter of foreign intervention in the parliament. “I will stand with Imran Khan if he proves foreign interference,” he announced.

Recently, PML-Q decided to support PM Imran in the no-confidence voting to be held in National Assembly (NA).

In return, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will support Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the candidate for Punjab chief minister.
