KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced an uninterrupted gas supply during the Eid ul-Adha holidays. SSCG stated that there will be no load shedding in Sindh, including Karachi, providing relief to the public.

As per a statement, the supply of gas would not be disrupted during the Eid holidays (June 7 to 9). But the company made it clear that from June 10, the normal gas loadshedding routine will be implemented.

According to the Central Ruet Hillal Committee, Pakistan will observe Eidul al-Adha on June 7. Eid-ul Adha, also referred to as the Festival of Sacrifice, is an important Islamic festival observed by millions of Muslims across the world, including Pakistan.

It commemorates the readiness of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) to offer his son as a sacrifice in obedience to Allah. To celebrate the day, Muslims perform acts of charity, offer special prayers, and enjoy festive meals together with family and friends.
