GILGIT: The date for the general elections in Gilgit-Baltistan has been announced on Tuesday, according to media reports.
Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan says that the term of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly and government will end on November 24.
The general elections of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly will be held in February 2026.
Raja Shahbaz Khan said that a list of more than 9.91 lakh voters has been prepared.
Voter lists have been sent to all the assistant commissioners from today for the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections in February 2026.
Voter lists will be displayed in the 25 constituencies of the assembly from tomorrow.
