Getting CNIC becomes easier than ever, check NADRA’s new system

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a simplified online fee payment system to make it easier to apply for identity documents. The program allows both local and expatriate Pakistanis to pay fees on different digital platforms without the need to approach NADRA centers.

Available through the ID Mobile App

Pak ID mobile application is used by citizens to apply and pay for documents such as the Smart National Identity Card (SNIC), Child Registration Certificate (CRC), and Family Registration Certificate (FRC).

The application allows payment through debit/credit cards, Easypaisa, JazzCash, and e-Sahulat.

Steps for Payment

For payment through a Mastercard or Visa debit/credit card, applicants should:

  • Log in to the Pak ID app
  • Open the “Inbox” and find the application with the tracking ID
  • Click “Pay Now,” provide card details, and verification code
  • A success message will pop up after the transaction is successful\

Payment Methods

  1. Easypaisa
  2. Choose “NADRA Fee” on the application
  3. Provide tracking ID and verification information
  4. Select “Pay in Full” to finish the process
  5. JazzCash
  6. Navigate to “Govt Payments” → “NADRA, NIS”
  7. Enter the tracking ID and authenticate the payment with your MPIN
  8. e-Sahulat
  9. Go to a nearby e-Sahulat franchise
  10. Provide your tracking ID to the operator and pay the amount due

2025 Fee Structure

  • Normal SNIC: Rs 750
  • Urgent SNIC: Rs 1,500
  • Executive SNIC: Rs 2,500
