PTI-backed NaikNam Karim wins in GBA-6 Hunza
HUNZA: The Returning Officer in GBA-6 Hunza constituency of Gilgit-Baltistan has released Form 47, according to which independent candidate NaikNam Karim has been declared successful.
According to the official results, NaikNam Karim secured a total of 6390 votes and won the seat, gaining an edge over his rivals.
Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Col (retd) Imtiaz-ul-Haq came in second place with 5417 votes.
After the release of Form 47, the election results of the constituency have been officially announced, and the victory of the independent candidate in Hunza is being described as a major development in the electoral scenario of Gilgit-Baltistan.
