ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) Shaza Fatima Khawaja has announced relief to users troubled by slow internet. She says that practical steps are underway to restore high-speed internet service in the country.
Users will see a clear improvement in the coming months.
According to the details, Buraq Space Camp started on December 29, 2025. In this program, 40 selected students received training in modern technology. The Federal Minister appreciated the performance of the students and called them a valuable asset of the country.
Federal Minister for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja, while addressing the closing ceremony of Buraq Space Camp, said that youth are the future of Pakistan.
It is necessary to equip them with modern skills to succeed in the digital era. She said that preparing youth to deal with challenges like climate change and cybersecurity is the need of the hour.
She also mentioned the role of youth during the struggle for truth. According to her, youth have rendered important services in the field of cybersecurity.
This proves that there is no dearth of talent in Pakistan.
The federal minister said that the government is working rapidly on the vision of Digital Pakistan. The public is being given easy access to data, technology and online facilities. He said that restoring the fastest internet service is the top priority of the government.
Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that preparations are underway to launch 5G service in the next few months. Along with this, there has been a 91 percent increase in the freelancing sector. The government is training the youth in various digital skills so that they can play an effective role in the country’s economy.
