DADU: A Government Girls Degree College, Dadu, clerk has gone missing after allegedly taking admission fees from over 200 students along with their admission documents.

Details say that the students had paid admission fees to clerk Zahid Panhwar, who was subsequently transferred from duty. However, the college administration said no admission fee had been deposited in the official accounts.

Some students said that they were admitted into BSc, BA, and other departments after paying their fees, but the administration has now turned their backs on them, saying that they have not been paid. The students have accused the principal of asking them to pay the fees once again.

Angered by the situation, the students who were affected protested against the administration, claiming they could not pay twice. The students claimed that since the money was already deducted by the clerk, it was the role of the college administration to reclaim the amount from him and not punish the students.

Even after frequent complaints, students alleged that the principal has not been able to solve the problem. They urged Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah and other officials to step in and save their educational future at the earliest.
