QUETTA: For the first time in history, online tests have been conducted for government posts in a single day and appointment letters have been issued within an hour.
According to details, for the first time in the history of Balochistan, recruitments have been started on merit basis for 111 government posts in the Finance Department.
Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti has said that this step is an important milestone towards ensuring the supremacy of merit and the principles of transparency.
Officials said that the recruitments are being done on a paperless and online basis, an online test will be conducted from the candidates so that their qualifications can be tested transparently. Appointment letters will be issued to successful candidates within just an hour.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said that the reform system has been started from the Finance Department and it will be implemented in all government jobs in a phased manner.
He said that as per the promise made to the public, neither jobs will be sold nor corruption or nepotism will be tolerated.
He further said that merit, transparency and promises made to the people are the foundation of our governance, and to fulfill this promise, the transparency system is being further strengthened.
This initiative is a historic development for the promotion of merit and transparency in government recruitment in Balochistan.
