ISLAMABAD: The district administration in Islamabad has issued a clarification dismissing circulating reports about the closure of transport terminals in the federal capital, assuring citizens that all bus stands remain fully functional.

The authorities confirmed through an official statement that all major bus terminals, which include Faizabad Interchange, operate normally throughout the day.

Public and private transport services function without any interruptions throughout the city. The social media platform brings forward a message that states that transport operations in the city have stopped.

This message creates a state of confusion among people who need to travel. The officials confirmed that intercity and intra-city transport services operate at their usual schedule.

The public should use established news sources to obtain accurate details while avoiding the distribution of unverified information. The active transport network in Islamabad connects the capital to major cities, which include Rawalpindi and other locations.

This system provides continuous transportation services for people who need to travel to work and for passengers who use public transportation. The bus terminal helpline reports that buses will start their operation schedule from 5 PM and continue until 9 PM.

The authorities issued a clarification because last night, the authorities reported that they had completed their preparation work for the second round of Islamabad talks. Officials increased their security and transport measures at important transit areas.
